Run / Walk Club

Our Run / Walk Club training sessions are suitable for all fitness levels and all ages, regardless of whether you are a regular walker or runner. The sessions are designed to:

  • Provide an environment that will assist you to improve your walking or running skills
  • Teach you how to run if you have not run previously
  • Keep your walking or running skills current between City 2 Surf events
  • Offer a training session that is a bit different to our normal group fitness classes

Walking and running are both fantastic exercises for overall fitness and fat loss, the only equipment you need is you, and you can do them anywhere! Each of our sessions caters for the individual in that you either walk or run according to your capability. So whilst you might be with other individuals that are either faster or slower than you, you will work to your own pace and improve on your times and ability. We teach you how to improve your speed and endurance, and how to walk / run safely.

Participating in a group will help you to stay motivated and focused. Many of our Run / Walk Club attendees go on to complete the City 2 Surf each year.

The Run / Walk Club dates for the 2010-2011 season are:

All training sessions will commence at 7:30am at George Thornton Reserve, West Pennant Hills. The cost of the sessions is $15. Please refer to our terms and conditions for details of payments.

Any individuals that join the Run / Walk Club who are not currently Mind Body Motion clients will need to undergo an initial fitness assessment for reasons of safety.
