Run Club at Ryde is a new location for 2012 and will cater for smaller events and be tailored towards the beginner runner. If you are an experienced runner and would like to participate in longer events then you will be more suited to our Run Club at West Pennant Hills. Click here for further information.

RUN CLUB PACKAGE INCLUSIONS
- Orientation guide - A guide to the overall Run Club progam.
- Registration for the events - MBM will register you on the day the event opens. Fees for each event are additional.
- Run Club meet training sessions - Every packages includes 7 training sessions. You choose when you wish to use them. They expire 30 November 2012. You can purchase additional training sessions.
- "Running injury prevention: Train hard and smart" seminar - Presented by Rachel Butterworth, sports physiotherapist at BJC Health. This material will be provided to you via video.
- Calendar - A calendar of all Run Club meets and the events, plus the dates for orientation sessions.
- Run Club shirt or singlet - the new 2012 singlet or t-shirt with new fabric and cut to ensure no chafing!
- Training plan - A prescriptive three month training plan with weekly activities.
- Video of your running style - You will have video taken of your running style and feedback will be provided to help you improve your running posture.
- Foam roller - Inclusion of a 15cm x 30cm foam roller which will be used at every training session. This is an invaluable tool for a runner! Instructions will be included.
- Articles - 'Heart rate training zones' and 'Common running injuries'.
- Nutrition advice - "Eat to Run" article by Karen Hester, Dietitian.
- Planning for the event - everything will be organised for you for every event from the time to meet, where to meet, and bib collection (if applicable). All you need to do is turn up to the event and run!
- Bag management - Management of your bags at every major event.
- Bus transportation - If you are participating in the City 2 Surf, a bus will be organised for City 2 Surf for the whole day's activities.
- Facebook group - You will be included in our facebook group where we share loads of information and co-ordinate regular running practice.
- Support - Receive our Run Club tips, regular emails and have unlimited access to email and phone support throughout your training time.
ORIENTATION SESSIONS FOR NEW MEMBERS
All new members to Run Club in 2012 must attend an orientation session which includes a fitness assessment for safety purposes. You must attend orientation and complete your fitness assessment before you can join the Run Club training sessions. This is to ensure that you have been assessed posturally for safety reasons, you understand what is required when attending Run Club, and the correct posture and technique when running.
Orientation sessions are held at 7:30am at George Thornton Reserve, View Street, West Pennant Hills on the following dates:
4 Mar, 1 Apr, 29 Apr, 10 Jun, 8 Jul, 5 Aug, 5 Sep
RUN CLUB MEETS
- Our Run Club training sessions are designed to provide you with the skills to become a better runner, utilise the correct postural technique, build strength and conditioning, increase your pace and endurance, all whilst running safely and injury free.
- We focus on the "hard stuff" that you won't do on your own. Our groups have runners of all shapes and sizes, and all speeds (including beginners).
- Run Club sessions are held from February to November. There are approx. two per month on a fortnightly basis however this may vary according to when the events fall.
- Every package includes either 6 or 10 Run Club meet training sessions. Additional sessions can be purchased if you wish to increase your training.
- All Run Club training sessions meet at 7:30am at Meadowbank Park, Adelaide Street, West Ryde

SO WHAT DO YOU DO NOW?
- Decide on which events you wish to enter.
- Complete the registration form in full.
- Ensure that you have completed all the relevant documents, including your payment form and the pre-exercise questionnaire. This is all attached to the registration form below.
- Scan and email all documents to info@mindbodymotion.com.au.

Terms and condtions
- All participants must be in a fit and healthy state with no serious injuries that would be aggravated by this training.
- If the participant is not an existing Mind Body Motion client or an existing Run Club member, they will be required to participate in a Run Club orientation session and complete their fitness assessment (incurring an additional fee) prior to participation in Run Club. Orientation sessions are held approx. once per month.
- Once you have registered for Run Club, if you decide to discontinue training, the only refund that will be provided is for any unused event registration fees. All other fees are non-refundable.
- Run Club meets that are included in the packages can be used any time across the year. Packages expire on 30 November 2012.
- In the case of serious injury or illness that prevents you from continuing the program, a pro-rated refund will be determined by Mind Body Motion taking into account expenses already incurred.
- If you are an existing client training in our group exercise classes, you are unable to use a Run Club session as a makeup class.
- If you are participating in Run Club events it is a requirement to wear Run Club merchandise on the day of the event. Run Club merchandise includes a cap, t-shirt or singlet.
- If you wish a relative or friend to take advantage of Mind Body Motion's organisation of an event, then in order for them to participate they should agree to purchasing and wearing Mind Body Motion merchandise, as outlined in point 7.
- If you are receiving the BJC Health "Running injury prevention: Train hard and smart" DVD, you agree not to share this information with any other individual, including other Mind Body Motion clients, as this is a breach of copyright. This information is for Run Club team members only.
- In order to participate in a Mind Body Motion event you agree to register through Mind Body Motion. If you do not, then you are unable to participate in the team activities on the day. All event fees include provision for the time it takes to register all participants online, and to collect bibs if applicable.
