Our team

So who is Mind Body Motion? Our awesome team all have various skills that, when combined as a team, help you to achieve fantastic fitness results, no matter what they are! 

All of our fitness coaches have certification in Fitness levels III and IV so they are able to effectively prescribe exercise for an outdoor or indoor environment. They have Professional Indemnity and Public Liability Insurance, a Senior First Aid Certificate, as well as other qualifications in specific areas such as boxing or diet/nutrition.

So you can train safely and effectively with us!

Kaz

Kaz's 20 year passion with exercise lead her to kickstart Mind Body Motion in 2006. Since then she has adopted the role of "The Running Whisperer" and whilst she will confess that her own running is nothing special, it's her passion. She has taken  many clients to City 2 Surf victory over the last few years and now has a 40-strong team competing in all types of events including half marathons and marathons. Having spent over 13 years in a Corporate environment, she is no stranger to leading teams of people to successful outcomes. Be careful, she has a way of motivating you to do things you never thought were possible!

Kaz lives in Chatswood with no pets and no children, and trains with her partner Col regularly (who is almost a qualified instructor). She covers the Hills District, North Shore and the Northern Suburbs.

Karen

Karen is our resident foodie...we mean Dietitian of course! She's recently put her love of food temporarily aside and decided to balance it out with her fitness skills. She's knows a stack about food and we are always quizzing her on advice for our clients. Oh, and she's a great fitness coach too but watch out, she is a netballer so she has a competitive streak! We guarantee you, you'll be thinking about what you had for breaky when she is whipping your butt into shape!

Karen lives in West Ryde and is married to Paul (who is also a keen runner) and they have two girls, Abby and Sophie. She covers the Northern Suburbs and Epping.

Julie

Julie is our resident toughie! Nah, seriously, she will just work you hard in the most innovative ways! Julie has this incredible knack of working out how to attack every body part and talking you into training hard without you even realising it! She became interesting in running when she went on maternity leave, and has a background in triathlons and cycling so she's no stranger to endurance work and will help improve your fitness levels to a point that even you won't believe you can do what you do!

Julie lives in Quakers Hill with her husband James (who is also a cycling and triathlon enthusiast), and her children Cate and Jack. She covers the Hills District.

Graeme

Graeme is a professional soccer player (playing since he was 10), the youngest member of our team and the only male! The ladies are always singing his praises, about his training skills of course! Despite that buffed bod he is awesome with all of our female clients and knows just the right combination of exercises to give you a great workout, yet have that gentle touch at the same time! He also just happens to know a bit about agility, speed and strength so can work with the guys too.

Graeme lives in Stankope Gardens with his partner Alex and their dog Toby. He covers the Hills District.

Amanda

Amanda has worked in many customer service roles from McDonald's in the early days, a long stint at Greater Union cinemas, right through to the helpdesk and project management office at IBM. Her passion is working with people, although these days instead of serving up a large popcorn she is helping you to get rid of it off your thighs! She is a boxing and circuit nut and can invent activities to do with your bodyweight you've not thought of before! She is also our pre and post-natal expert, helping mums to prepare for birth and making sure they are fit and healthy afterwards.

Amanda lives in Castle Hill with her husband Brian and her dog Billy. She covers the Hills District.

Emma

Emma is our kettlebell guru. There is not much she doesn't know about them and she will have you swinging one around building your core strength, abs, butt, thighs, shoulders and a million other muscles you didn't even know existed! She loves strength work and somehow manages to combine it with cardio into some heart pounding workouts. The beauty of Em's training is that she can do this with all ages and fitness levels. Em's own very cool weight loss journey lead her to becoming a personal trainer.

Emma is originally from Melbourne and currently lives in Neutral Bay with her cat Harvey. She covers the Lower and Upper North Shore.

Johanna - yoga

Johanna teaches you to relax and rejuvenate. She is our yoga guru and from what our clients tell us they 'love' Johanna's classes. She offers a perfect compliment to a great workout by focusing on the flexibility aspects of your health and fitness. She is also super duper fit, thanks to her husband's great workouts, and combined with her yoga skills, she knows what body parts get a bit overworked and need her help. She will have you relaxed, rested and flexible in no time!

Johanna lives in Gladesville with her husband Adam (who is also a personal trainer) and her two dogs. She teaches yoga at our West Pennant Hills location and can provide private yoga tuition on the North Shore, Hills District and Northern Suburbs.
