Mind Body Motion Achievement Awards

Every year Mind Body Motion conducts a recognition process for its clients.

  • The competition is open to all Mind Body Motion clients and is conducted from April to September. There is no cost to enter.
  • The goal must be specific, measureable, realistic and a goal that has not been previously achieved.
  • In September all clients that achieve their goal (s) will be presented as a case study, outlining the achievements
  • All clients will then be asked to vote and determine the recipient of the award based on effort and what was achieved

The recipient of the award is the client with the most votes and they will recieve $300 in Coles Myer vouchers. The award is presented at the MBM end of year function in Oct/Nov.

Award winner for 2011 - Wendy

Wendi's goal was to reduce to a size 10 in clothing, improve her City2Surf time and complete the event in less than 90 minutes, and run her first half marathon.

She achieved her goal of reducing a clothing size. She ran the City2Surf in 84 minutes and not only did she complete the SMH Half Marathon in May, she also completed a second half marathon at the Blackmores Running Festival in September. Wendy will continue to be a member of our Run Club in 2012.

Award winner for 2010 - Sunara

Sunni's goals were to achieve a time of under 60 mins in the Mother's Day Classic, under 100 mins in the City 2 Surf and to reduce her measurements on her hips and waist by 2-5cm. Sunni blitzed her goals by completing the Mother's Day run in 45 mins and the C2S in 87 mins. Not bad for someone who only started to run earlier this year! She also lost 4kg by giving up processed sugars, and reduced her waist by 3.5cm and her hips by 3cm.

Sunni continues to train with us in our group exercise classes at West Pennant Hills and is also a member of our Run Club team.

Award winner for 2009 - Kelli

Kelli's goal was to improve her fitness and reduce her measurements. Kelli lost a significant amount in terms of cm's and dropped several clothing sizes over the 9 month period of the award. She also walked the City 2 Surf in just over 2 hours (her first time in the event) and completed a 9km fun run in just 65 mins at the end of September 2009, having not run for 17 years.

Kelli is continuing with her goals and in 2010 plans to reduce her C2S run by 30 minutes and lose a further specific measurement.

Award winner for 2008 - Michelle

Michelle lost over 20 kilo's in 6 months and when she was presented with the award, she had achieved greater than 25 kilo's in weight loss.

Michelle did not exercise when she first met Kaz. She made a huge change to her diet and her exercise programs and with enormous hard work and perseverence she achieved her goals over the 9 month period. She trained once a week with Kaz, walked for 5km every single day, and made significant changes to her diet.
